73_May Medley
Come, find with me the favorites of the fifth month...
When I wake up in the morn and I seek Your face, Lord, Jesus, be the first place in my heart. As I'm walking by the way and with every word I say, Jesus, be the treasure of my soul. Oh, Jesus, be the treasure of my soul. I don't have the strength, but thank God You do. I don't have the means, but, Jesus, I have You. As I lean upon Your grace, You are leading the way. Oh, I can stand if I lean on You.
As always, I am not affiliated with these companies or events; I simply want to share with you the joy of learning by passing along these opportunities!
I spent most of May learning how to make stickers and coloring pages for my snail mail club, but I also squeezed in a few sessions from HobbyScool’s Art of Expression Summit. I focused on the lettering, watercolor, and papercraft lessons to gather inspiration for future printables and subscriber gifts.
For next month, I am already signed up for Workshop Week, which features over forty free creative classes, running from June 1-5. We’ll see how many of them I can watch during naptime. There are several painting, journaling, and fiber art activities that have sparked my interest.
Summer break is already (or soon) underway in the US, and I’ve noticed an increase in emails about upcoming online events. There’s a Superfood Garden Summit from June 2-5 and the Scrapbooking Fun Summit from June 3-7. I wish they didn’t all overlap, but I suppose it is an effective way to force us to set clear learning goals with the little time we have!
If you have any similar online events to share, you are welcome to link them in the comments below.
I sent you my most recent lettering project in Wednesday’s newsletter, but I wanted to make it available in German, too. For ease of access, I will repost the English version here. I hope you enjoy a peaceful creative moment as you color and memorize God’s word.
Here is also a personal lettering project I doodled one evening a few weeks ago; it now decorates the front of my sermon notes journal:
The final week of May had us facing our first heatwave in Bavaria. Even though I tried to water my gardens every evening, they were looking quite faded by this afternoon. Right in time, God sent a thunderstorm, during which I heard my oldest singing, “Thank you, God, for water for our plants.”
Between downpours, we went outside to enjoy the refreshing scent of the rain, and I noticed that the gardens were already looking considerably better. Come, stroll with me through the blooming beds:
Thank you for being my guest. In God’s word you will find rest; Seek Him, be bountifully blessed. 💚

How wonderful! Thanks for sharing so many great things. The coloring page is so neat! I also went ahead and signed up for the workshop week, there are so many interesting classes!
